Everyone's favourite day on the Brunswick live music calendar is the Sydney Road Street Party and the 2024 lineup is even bigger than last year.

On Sunday March 3, the Brunswick Ballroom stage will be hosting performances from seven eclectic and wonderful acts, starting with gorgeous folk musician Meghan Make, followed by the sunkissed jazz instrumentals of Mouche (featuring Tim Karamouche of The Murlocs).

From 4.30pm the Ballroom stage will start to sizzle with one of Melbourne’s most exciting new rock acts The Hot Machine. At half time, Billiam & The Split Bills will be bringing us their unique autism-core sounds and punk rock sibling trio FRENZEE - all the way from Greece - will be shredding from 6.30pm.

When the evening hits, powerhouse pop group The Prize will charge onto the stage before Our Carlson (back by popular demand) will draw the night to a close with his electro acid greatness.

Entry is FREE

ABOUT OUR CARLSON
In a year that included appearances at Meadow, Vivid, Dark Mofo & Yours & Owls plus a national tour with Cable Ties, The Peoples Poet Our Carlson is bringing Epilepsy Sexy back. Ranting about Cappo Dogs and Domming Doctors over breakbeats, jungle, and all that.

Our Carlson is disabled but fully aware of the patriarchal privilege he has grown up under. The normalisation of menstruation, the smashing of the patriarchy and fact that disabled people are sexy will be the themes of the day. After being diagnosed with epilepsy at age 33, Our Carlson’s frustration with the medical system and the fragility of the human mind exploded into the most exciting, and upsetting, ambient breaks of 2021 on the album “A Bit Much”, followed by "A Bit2Much" in 2023, featuring remixes by Vessa, Toecutter, and Rings Around Saturn.

Wade through the trauma with My Carlson, Your Carlson, Our Carlson.
